The Workshop
The Steubenville Workshop is the carpentry training space for our students. It also functions as a member woodworking space for the Steubenville community.
In The Workshop, students will go from learning the basics to practicing advanced woodworking techniques. They will also have the opportunity to spend extracurricular time building for personal or commercial purposes.
Extracurricular Courses for the General Public
The Workshop also offers extracurricular courses that are not restricted to enrolled students. This year, as we anxiously anticipate our first cohort, we are offering a number of courses that cover the basics of the trades we will offer. But we also use this format to teach tangential skills that promote craftsmanship and a broad understanding of techniques and materials.
