Executive Assistant to the VP Operations

The College of St. Joseph the Worker is a Catholic institute of higher learning within the diocese of Steubenville that simultaneously trains students in the skilled trades and the Catholic intellectual tradition to earn a BA degree.

A small, tight-knit group of tradesmen, academics, and administrators run the college in downtown Steubenville, OH. We offer very flexible vacation time. Health insurance premiums are covered by the college. All Catholic solemnities are days off. We don’t have a ping-pong table at the office, but you could build one: all employees have free access to the workshop.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manage front desk, including first contact customer service, mail management, student queries

  • Manage data in application and student database

  • Assist in management of library services

  • Oversee student library workers

  • Filter and assign college phone calls, email, and social media messages

  • Track and maintain inventory for office supplies

  • Manage ordering for VP of Operations

  • Oversee and coordinate shipping

  • Manage College bookstore

  • Other administrative duties as assigned
